What should I bring?
Toiletries

Food & Drink – Unless you are on package where meals are not provided, we should have you covered. But if there are particular foods that you would like to bring, please do. Alcoholic beverages for example, are not provided but you are welcome to bring them
Clothing – The weather can be unpredictable, but by the time you pack you should have a good idea. Keep in mind most of your time will be inside a blind, without much movement, hopefully. Layers are always a good idea.
Boots – We really have a pretty easy terrain to walk in, but we do have a fair amount of prickly pear. Leather boots seem to fare much better with their spines than do hiking shoes, but it really is personal preference. Many locals wear snake boots, and although we don’t see many snakes, they can be a good precaution
Binoculars & Camera gear – We have free ranging exotics all over the ranch, so we always suggest you have optics for viewing.
Hunting gear – Of course depends on the game and weapon type, I welcome that conversation about specifics, before the hunt. Although we do not have any local Walmart or archery pro shops, we will always try to have a back up equipment.
What type of success should I expect?
Success to me means you are given a shot opportunity at your given range of proficiency, which we will have discussed ahead of time. Of course, it is hunting, and not just shooting. This is not a ‘canned’ hunt where all you have to do is show up…if you are not in agreement that your had good opportunities, we will reschedule another hunt within the next 12 months
Depending on what the quarry is, some game are more tolerant to human presence than others.
What type of shots should I expect?
As a traditional bowhunter myself, shots in bow blinds have been set up for 15-20 maximum shots. If you are a compound hunter, I think that you will be very pleased with the setups
What type of blinds do you have?
Most of the blinds are fully enclosed, fiberglass blinds, roomy enough for 2 people. All of these blinds have numerous windows if you enjoy filming your hunt. There is an even mixture of elevated and ground, with some tripod setups also. There are enough set ups where we can usually work with wind directions. All of our blinds are in great working condition, and scrutinized for safety.
